One team for the electrical and the technical
DTech was built around a simple observation: most jobs need an electrician and a technician, and coordinating two contractors is the customer's problem until someone decides to solve it.
What we do
DTech is an electrical and technology solutions company based in Castries, Saint Lucia, working island-wide. We cover two closely related trades: electrical installation and power systems on one side, and electronic and industrial equipment repair on the other.
In practice those two rarely stay separate. A restaurant fit-out needs kitchen circuits and POS cabling. A hotel plant room needs a control panel repaired and a generator changeover that works. A warehouse wants cameras, and the cameras need a network, and the network needs power that does not drop. Splitting that across separate contractors is how jobs stall.
How we work
We assess before we quote. That means testing and measuring rather than estimating from the doorway, because a quote built on a guess turns into a variation later — and the customer pays for it. Once we have the facts, you get an itemised written quotation in EC$ with a timeline.
Every installation is tested, labelled and documented at handover. Boards get circuit schedules, networks get port maps, maintained equipment gets a service history. If you replaced us tomorrow, the next contractor could pick up the work without guesswork. We think that is the bar, not a favour.
Where we work
We cover Saint Lucia island-wide — Castries, Gros Islet, Rodney Bay, Babonneau, Anse La Raye, Canaries, Soufrière, Choiseul, Laborie, Vieux Fort, Micoud, Dennery. Travel is factored into the quotation upfront, so there is no separate charge for distance appearing on the invoice.

These cost us work occasionally. We keep them anyway, because they are the reason clients come back.
Safety is not a line item
Earthing, protection and correct cable sizing are not where a quote should be trimmed. If a competitor's price is lower because they skipped those, we will show you exactly where.
Documentation you keep
Labelled boards, circuit schedules, port maps and service records. If we stopped working with you tomorrow, the next contractor could pick it up without guesswork.
